Hi, my name is Britni (she/her). I'm a social worker-turned-freelance writer who is passionate about shattering stigma through the power of story. I live in Boston, Massachusetts with my family. I'm a feminist parent, recovered alcoholic, and die-hard Red Sox fan who aims to write about issues from a lens that most people aren't using. My writing is a mix between personal narrative essays, creative nonfiction, and reported journalism.

I'm currently a news writer for The Fix and Refinery29, and my work has been featured on Vogue, The Washington Post, Teen Vogue, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, VICE Sports, espnW, Marie Claire, Buzzfeed, NYLON, and many others.

In 2017, I received the Nellie Bly Award for Investigative Journalism from the Transformative Culture Project for my reporting on racism in the Boston baseball and sports media scene for DigBoston.
